"Beautiful Memories"

My Embrace

Has been empty for a while

My lips thirst

For the taste of yours

I crave their tender sweetness.

No longer is my soul

Searched for

By your jewel shappire eyes

That penetrate me

As I awe at their loveliness.

The "I love you"

Your soft lips uttered

In my yesterdays

Are now silent.

I used to hold your hands

Sparatically kissing

Ther creaminess

Your breathing now shallow

Your needs were mine.

Now there's no life

Within eyes

That once stars shone within

' cept for those I still cherish

In my loving meories of you.

I remember beautiful times

When your laughter

Brought joyous moments

To my heart.

Your lips kissed mine

As wonderful deeds

were performed

In the yesteryears

Of past moments in time.

William, this is tender but sad. I see you wrote it a while ago, lost in the archives of your mind. It is a beautiful poem however!
