Speak like Religion

“Speak like Religion”

If I were to speak to you…it would be, in itself, a religion
where passion would etch our eyes with a permanence
earmarking the pages of our thoughts and questions
for future reference and to keep records of our dreams
I could hopefully convert you with a well-placed whisper
one that would promise you to faithfully fill the voids
left undiscovered and abandoned by countless others
although somehow have long ago forgotten your worth

If I were to mention to you that I was once young
and had the capacity to love beyond the tender hours
while the silvered moon arched above in processional
just as my heart conquered the contradictions of old
I would retrace desire upon your eyelids by starlight
and find my way once more wandering into silent dream
trespassing your every thought thoroughly supplanted
by subliminal gesture that would invade your nights

If I were to whisper to you of all my wanton wishes
knowing in my soul that they stand aligned to yours
and that they would shift the sands of time to our favor
so that we would be granted eons more for loving
I shall dedicate those remaining seconds innumerable
exacting remaining energy from even those dying cells
until dust to dust I must return to ocean misted canyons
between the crest of mother earth and dear father sky

If I were to say unto you, I worshiped you as a Goddess
that the angels would witness what we have professed
and vowed with you beneath the wings of our Creator
the truths of what love has created and heaven inspired
I should relay an undying devotion that will not diminish
opening the translucent pages of an heartfelt emotion
breaking silence with love’s whispers in the moonlight
and inspiring the heart to beat and speak like religion

To know true love, but to feel it, now that is what a woman wants to have. Nicely done.

A compressed volume of something so big, Amor! There is supreme indulgence here of heartmatters and speaks to me like a psalm of the religion of love...this is the most heartfelt devotion and should be included between covers and bound into a romantic volume...extremely filled with passion and elegance my friend...be well.

Sage

This is a sacred and illuminated text in the temple of two hearts that both wor(th)ship and are wor(th)shipped in spirit and in truth. There are no veils here: just a pure and freely-accessible sanctuary; a safe place of inextinguishable flame, unquenchable love and an enduring peace. A door into a world shared by only two which can never be closed. Breathtaking work in both content and form, Amor. Bless you, xx

Youth is over-rated. Mature love that develops over the years and obstacles is preferable to young lust or inexperienced, untried love. What can I say Amor? You convert me so easily and completely.
