THE VOID

The light that filled the whole sky
Was no more seen I know not why
Like an eerie silence so devoid
Of melody and music - just a VOID

In the spring I see trees at bloom
So fresh at dawn and chasing gloom
Come winter the leaves would wither
The trees look like a ripped off feather

I dared to stay at calm and ease
Often in life I had to appease
Until I found - pity my mind
You moved in life and left me behind

So

The light that filled the whole of sky
Was no more seen I know not why
Like an eerie silence so devoid
My mind is now but just a VOID

well said, venkat. "you moved in life and left me behind" is
a terrific turn of phrase.
