|The act itself, this stripping away, the effort to remove the past, to prepare for new colors in one's life, takes on a metaphoric vibration that expands to ones relationship with partners, memories forever in our dreams at night, and the ever present impatience with needing to seek out fresh discovery. Knowing how color effect all of the above, it's not surprising that this reader found solace in your reminding me of the ability we have to effect change, if only courage will be expressed. To be on "blank" sets up the opening of many windows for new visions. Thank you for guiding us through this often times ignored maze of life's simple, yet provocative decisions.|

|Very well, Morgan...for some reason you have me in angst to put paint to canvas again. There are so many visuals in this fantastic piece, I can almost paint it.

|I READ THIS BEFORE AND THOUGHT I LEFT A COMMENT. BUT IN ANY CASE, THIS METAPHORIC WORK IS EXCELLENT. STARTING OVER IS VERY HARD TO DO...ESPECIALLY WHEN ONLY ONE IS DOING ALL THE WORK. WELL DONE AND ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS & FAITH...

|Superbly realised in both head and word.
When and if we reach the essential and there's no further need to strip and bare more...blank is perfect, as is indeed your poem, Morgan.

|This was a thought provoking piece. Tearing and shredding old paintings is like me tearing old poems. Very interesting writing, Morgan.
