The Littlest Christmas Angel
She is the littlest Angel with the largest star halo corona,
Princess to one’s heart for she shines within her presence,
She shares with family and the hospital staff’s persona,
Fighting for her life, in it being, so precious a present.
Wishing well miracle smile that fights cancerous cells
That in pain she still shines so, in going past time lines
In Thanksgiving seconds, minutes, hours in day dwells.
A Christmas tree now gives her inner strength confines.
That in the touch and go, the Christmas lights did blink.
An Angel top, did shine on her hospital ceiling, as a divine gift.
While Christmas cards did lift her spirit to fight to shrink
The growth before a Christmas eve family prayer shift.
Where the littlest Christmas Angel did receive a miracle wish
That on Christmas day she received her most precious blessing.
That this princess was in remission with glassy eyes well wishes
That in a corner wishing well, were poem prayer for her success.
Oh Lord, bless your Christmas Angels
That in the faith of family and staff
That upon a Christmas they find their remission
