Just a free verse poem I wrote |
|
Standing in the doorway
As still as night itself,
Peeking in only for a second
As moments turn into menacing millenniums.
Eclipsing darkness infiltrates my soul
Like fog blinding feeble eyes;
Facading thoughts overtaking my mind.
Breathing is at a rapid standstill
Setting the stage for crimson tragedy.
Lying in defeat along tainted ground
As the hilt of fate
Is driven downwards
To the slow beat of a mortal wound.
