We shall be giving but being loved is nice too.

They love him

He desperately missed the warm and delicate kisses he would place on the nape of her neck, yet he found satisfaction when he moistened his lips, tasting droplets of morning’s dew that slowly dripped onto the tips of his fingers, as he kneeled  in the meadow to reach the bending curve of a daffodil pedal.

Gone forever it seemed, were the days of tender moments once shared.

But now he walked outside and basked in the union freely offered to him from the garden of living things.

And he knew that in his aloneness he was not alone.

His once burning desires extinguished by the hand of fate, have now been rekindled and resurrected by a universe of animals, plants, planets and stars, that love him.
