A truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty…- Author Unknown

I stood and watched as my love strolled down the isle
I relished with delight in her shy but loving smile
But the blessings did not end on our wedding night
And the warm embraces or sighs of delight
Soon our family of two would become a family of three
It was now made up of my wife, my son and me
But God kept the blessings coming and soon came a baby girl
Now it was Ann, me, my son and our newest pearl
Our Heavenly father had still another blessing in store
Ann, me, David, Beth and Susan made four
Oh the joy of Fatherhood, how I treasured them as I watched them grow
How fast the years came flying past and too soon they were grown
And found their own loves and had kids of their own
Now I am husband to my wife and Dad to my three
And Granddad to the little ones who come running to me
Sometimes we feel rather sad when we grow old
But even growing old has its joys to behold
Praise God for my life and my family to love
For these like all blessings are from our Heavenly Father above
