|Fee, I feel the same. Christmas is so different now and I miss the ole days! Thank you for sharing your memories in this lovely poem. Holidays are difficult because so many memories were with a loved one that is no longer a part of our life. The memories will comfort when we are alone...I know this feeling all to well as I lost my father two years ago at Christmas. He loved Christmas and took joy in preparing everything! Sending you love, and happiness this holiday season. HUGs, Chessly|

|Loved the stroll down memory lane with this one Fee! Christmases of yesteryear were such a joy! Of course they are still joyous...it's just that nothing is the same anymore....way too much focus on the commercial side of the season......this was lovely!

|Not much sadder than spending Christmas alone. Thanks for sharing this one Fee. I've been there and I know the feeling, but keep on keeping on. I was lucky and soon you will be too, she'll read some of your wonderful poetry and simply won't be able to resist you. Dick|
