A hunger for Christ

Here is a thought as we prepare for CHRISTmas from Blaise Pascal… There is a God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus.

Have you ever noticed that babies cry to as if to announce their very birth?
There was born in a stable of Bethlehem a child would come to save the Earth
This child did not cry but lay peacefully in a stable in a manger
He feared not the dark or where he lay and cared not of any danger

This child was born to save the Earth. He was sent from God above
He lay calmly in that manger as a gift sent from the father to us with love
Why did he not cry out, this Child of God? It was because his heart was content
It was for the fulfillment of our hearts that this Son of God to Earth was sent
He was and is the shining light sent into a world of darkness
And it was and is the forgiveness of our sins, the issue he came to address
So fill the vacuum in your heart with the love of Gods only son
Thereby earn peace of mind because you now know that your eternal life is thereby won
Merry CHRISTmas
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO MY FRIENDS AT A.D.
