Extending my best wishes to you all via my rhyming acrostic...

Merry Christmas   (Rhyming acrostic 2010)
May we all come together seeking peace;
Every race hoping for conflict to cease.
Rejoice for through the darkness shines a light,
Reaching from heaven, dispelling all fright.
Yuletide stories tell of a new Earth;
Choirs of angels proclaim the Christ’s birth.
Happy are those who witness this event;
Regaling in news that is heaven sent.
It is time to come together as one,
Seeking peace that the Lord’s will may be done.
The end of war and strife has come at last;
May all evil be a thing of the past.
As we find unity throughout the Earth,
So that at last we may go forth in mirth

An excellent acrostic Regis. Love this one. Exactly what Christmas is all about. May God bless you every day of your life.

Bless you, Regis; here, again, you effortlessly capture both the sentiment and real meaning of Christmas in an extended rhyming acrostic that anyone would be hard-pushed to match. You excel in these, but also in bringing together our hearts and minds to concentrate fully on the power that is ours if we would but heed both your exhortation and your beneficient words of seasonal greeting. You and John Lennon are collaborative souls indeed! A very Merry Christmas and Bright New Year to you and yours, dear one. xx

The end of war and strife has come at last;
May all evil be a thing of the past.
As we find unity throughout the Earth,
So that at last we may go forth in mirth

It is too bad that this hasn't yet come to pass. War and strife seem to be what the whole world is about these days.

But the poem itself is heartwarming and reminds me of sitting in the living room in the U.P. listening to grandpa Jack's stories on Christmas eve. Heaven and nature proclaimed his birth, and He shall be mighty unto all the earth. This is well written and well thought out.

One day He will come in glory and judge us for what we have done in our life. whether right or wrong or both. Thank you for sharing.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always and walk by your side. With love in my heart, joy to the world,peace on earth, & (((((((((((((((((((((((((((MANY SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))))))))))))))))), your little sister, Barbie
