Have you not contemplated how nature toils?
As it unhurriedly manufactures flowers out of the soil
As spring comes they flourish one by one
As the rains come and they reach adoringly for the sun
The temperatures were cold and each day they warm
The bees feed the flowers as around them they swarm
In summer you see lightning illuminating the sky
And watch as clouds roll over and slowly pass by
The fall brings its own glorious cabaret
As leaves turn different colors and fall from the trees day by day
Have you simply sat and watched the first snow fall?
Does it not create within you a feeling of awl?
Oh, the memories I have of Christmas days long ago
As I child I would sleep while visions of sugar plums come and go
God created nature and he created you and me
He sent his son so that we all might see
He methodically works slow but sure and magnificently
Remember that God is in no hurry and nor should we be
For all good things come to those who wait on the Lord
Through his son our place in Heaven can thus be restored
