Inferno

By Amber  "V" Moonstone   12/25/10

A breathless, undeniable fountain
releases it's force, pounding against
granite thoughts, Revealing secrets
that only lover's hold tightly within
the diagram of a wounded heart..

Connectivity,
obsessive emotions
combine to form a deep
desire that flows as freely
as a fountain in spring.

Cleansing baptismal
waters, engulf the two
lover's as they vow
to stand beneath the heavens
in unity of a most profound promise.

Peaceful feathers fall upon their faces,
touching moments of tenderness
folding into darkened desires
of the deepest kind.
Hands against flesh,
lips tasting the burning desire,
that fuels the inferno of their love.

Very intense Amber...even with the two sides of how love is in its caring and uncaring emotional ride...you have found the character of that inferno hidden within waiting to explode...

nice...

It's a scorcher. Powerful symbolism and a very fine conclusion.

Scorching assessment of what burns in two lovers beforehand cleansed of life's debris when then and only then the burning desire consummates its union, and then the fever of the aftermath! Happy New Year, Amber!

I love how the fire transforms into feathers to enhance that feeling of refining and peace, Amber. Those who are consumed in the lovers' flame - but not by it! - are those whose love is strengthened and purified, enduring to the last. As always, your work seamlessly blends the flesh and the spirit into one perfected essence. May 2011 continue to bless you with hope, grace and all the bounty your great love deserves. Thank you for always lavishing us so freely with your healing wishes. xx
