|So true, Rose, and all the more heartbreaking for it. It's what I think about all the time: each one a mother's son. It's probably true that words about "mother" are often the last on every fading soldier's lips: so much WW1 poetry speaks of this. |The only problem I have with the US military is it is now volunter. So these kids know what they are getting into. That does not mean I do not support our troops, because I do. Excellent write, Rose.
