This is for my creature friends, the Holiday season, I would be remiss, if I did not mention their plight.

A devastating holiday it was,
For creatures large and small,
Our habit of eating them the cause,
When on their sacrifice we call,

Think about it friends, young and old,
What we do to millions to be happy,
Their Christmas story is never told,
How many millions, die for you and me,

Might we not, if we changed our way of being,
Bring happiness to all including them,
When in that manger we are kneeing,
Where praying, and baying, our other ken,

Think of it in terms of karma, dragging them,
Out of the stall, your heart, before his eyes,
When quiet the child, not yet could speak, and when,
You that could spoke not but lies,

For love, should it not extend to others?
Even those, innocent as him, that could not speak,
Seriously, and think, if you it bothers,
For love, not better ways we’d seek,©29/12/2010

How many millions, die for you and me

And it will only get worse, as our human numbers continue to skyrocket. One sadly wonders what will be left besides humans on this planet one future day.

All of life is one. There is no exception. The mass slaughter of animals, birds and fish affects all creation. All creation suffers. Thank you Jasmin for helping to raise humanity's level of awareness and increase sensitivity.

May all beings be well and happy,
Linden
