The Smiling Face

Behind the smile that seem to paste itself on her lips
is a mind as turbulent as the sea
Like waves that smash the shorelines
Her thoughts often goad her heart
Squeezing, tormenting, crashing...

Dreams that seem as vast as the endless skies
Often make her confused mind wonder
Are those dreams hers?
Os is she just a surrogate dreamer
For someone else's dream that manage to come true ?

She tries to think on a different perspective
Like a mirror
Where there is clarity and certainty
Yet she can find nothing but
Just one thing: The smile on her face.

Heartfelt. Keep smiling, Sheri, for everything in this world is temporary. There is much relief in knowing that God knows best.

Our moods are established by a frown or smile Sheri. More often than not they precede our emotional set rather than reflect was has been. Mirror of clarity or not, wear the smile that is always present within the human spirit my dear friend. A smile is the countenance that adorns human triumph. A great deal of introspection and worldly wisdom here Sheri. Aloha my dear friend. Jon Michael
