Perilous be this journey
perilous this life,
but nothing can grow
or be gained without strife.

The lessons we learn
as we navigate treacherous
waters,
are merely growing pains
to forebode beautys' reign.

We may curse the heavens above
and cry out to the powers that be;
Why me? Why me?
But before the end we come to know
the wonderous ways in wich we grow.

It is then we make peace with ourselfes
and see the error in our ways.
For how could we have ended up there
if we ourselfes did not a path clear?

And if the path to perilous waters
we did clear,
we can also make the way
out of there.

Elisabeth, hope does spring eternal my dear friend. You have captured the spin we each place upon our own destinies. I love this expression. It inspires the human spirit to move above and beyond. I bid you love and peace. Jon Michael

nice work...life is but our dreams and the ups and downs of finding ourselves before we reach that final curtain...

Wise words indeed...we are all the navigators and captains of our own fates...so we must guide ourselves carefully following the charts and navigation tools our creator provided.
