Hands---Georgia O'Keeffe---1909

Her fingertips caressed my soul
A soul that had been wandering
Until her eyes found me
My smile accepted the invitation

She grasp my hand
We walked quietly,
Without a warranty
Or guarantee

She beat me when it came to
Being around the block
She is a nonconformist
Her intelligence is her highest asset

Weeks have disappeared...
The months came and went
It is almost a year since...
Her fingertips caressed my soul
