Like a faded photograph,
Have a tendency to change,
Depending on which outfit I select.
Never mind historical correctness,
Political correctness will do,
Can't you see we democrats really love you!
I warned you about the evils of this land,
Stay away from HALLIBURTON,
Oh, what do you mean in back in 1999,
Clinton was in the White House,
And I made 35,000 dollars on my shares
On Dick Cheney's company.
Oh, can't you see that was how I paid my 31,000
Dollars of taxes in 2000.
Even though I make millions,
I’m not sending them to DC.
Now, the secret is out,
My memories are of the good old days,
When I could have my cake and eat it to,
Yes, I tell the truth,
Only when it suits me.
Just a figment of my mind,
Will do just fine,
Jaded copies of faxes,
Stock sale slips torn in half,
Memories of come back in bits and pieces.
Like the closet of my mind
Oh yes, one last thing don't do as I do
Do as I sing!
