Something simple.

Shifting Shadows 2011

 

The shadow moved right to left

In incremental steps that shrink seconds,

To disappear into the sun overhead.

That shifts about rotating time pieces.

The shadow moved left to right

In miniscule steps that grew in time

To finally stretch into the night skylight,

Where the moon shifts through its phases

Where the stars always shine above the clouds.
