~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 My love is bright--a red, red rose
Though stem thorns marred some peaks.
I understand her woman tears,
I've heard her when she speaks.
If my love should pass before me,
She'll be a rose in my bouquet.
Each day I'll buy red roses;
The sharp thorns I'll knife away.
Remembering the good, forgetting the bad....that's pretty much what it's all about.
Symbolically meaningful and lovely in meaning expressed and emotions awakened, Regis. Thank you for sharing this ode to the one you love. Love and peace to you,
