Some people feel guilty about their anxieties and regard them as a defect of faith but they are afflictions, not sins. Like all afflictions, they are, if we can so take them, our share in the passion of Christ….Author: C.S. Lewis

Yes, my friend I have an affliction
They call it a medical condition

In many ways I am limited by this illness
But I have learned to accept it without distress

My Lord and savior also suffered, you see
His suffering was far graver than this is for me

I will accept what Earthly life accords
Knowing one day I will stand before my Lord

And Earthly grief will have no place there
For I will live eternally under his gracious care

When the day comes that he calls me home to stay
I will bid this pale body goodbye on that day

I will be the recipient of one that knows no limitation
I will dwell forever with my master, the source of my salvation

Amen
