My first memories
Started at age three
I had blond hair blue eyes
Sitting on my father's knee

As I grew older
My memories accrued
Christmas' past
Holidays and birthdays

When I reached my teens
I had memories of friends,
Activities,'Indiana dunes'
My first serious love...

Now I have acquired to
Many memories...mostly good
As the years go by...
I dwell on the happier times

Trying to leave the rest behind

My life has had many curves
Ups and downs, more than
My share of turn-arounds

But when I met you last year
I felt a renewal
A peacefulness I've never known
An understanding between us two

Contentment,friendship,
A 'love' for you
May your feelings
'Treasure' the same

You will always be
'Priceless'to me
More precious...then currency
For I adore and cherish thee

memories are so sacred
even the horrid ones matter
it is such a wonderful thing
to run across someone in our lives
whom move us with such depth
as this person you speak of

through meaningful encounters
