a poem about my hopes

You woke me this morning with a hello;
             You had the power to change the day.

With one word to me;
            You brought out the Sun's ray.
The stress of work yet to do is wiped away.
            The hope of love yet  to come is here.

I am patient, but feel and urgency
             I look at your picture
                       and your smile calms my fears.

I remember what we have shared
             an embarcation, a beginning.

To be at peace, to love to share;
              to eat, to laugh, our lives blended.

This I desire, until our lives ended;
              we know each other in the beyond.
