The screams ring eternal
Throughout the hollow bowels
Of my soul.
Help me
Shut up
Love me
Hate me
Stay the hell away.
These mortal trespasses
I cannot apologize enough for
Alas
Words are just things.
No more.
Just understand, I never meant to make you cry.
Cowardice.
Threw it all away.
Why?
Was it so bad that I was happy for once?
Yes.
I'll tell you I'm sorry
Forgive and forget me.
Wash your hands clean of me.
Help me live for myself.
And then I'm gone.
Farewell.

An apology to those I've hurt. I never intended to. Just forgive me.

"Was it so bad for me to be happy for once"
Mike I have written of the subconcious need we develope to that which becomes familiar. It is a strange insanity that makes us affraid to face being happy. We long for the darkness we know so well. This is a wonderful write. Your power and emotion grow with you.
