Being's Cruelest Fate

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
By fate we live, daring to make some sense
Of long years lost ignoring human dense.
Reason shrieks there must be a primal cause.
If not, earthly sanity knows no laws.
Science gives a queer start to what exists:
"The Big Bang blasted being from nothingness."
Have we in turn sprung forth to be ignored,
Daring to know being of our own accord?
Perhaps free will gives terms: the right to choose
Between insanity or a God-planned ruse.
When life's clock unwinds, death will certainly occur.
Being's cruelest twist: wits without an answer!
I don't think there's ever a concrete answer for all this. I just try not to get all wrappedf up in my own certitudes.
The bridge between science and spirituality can be crossed but it takes and open mind and a willingness to use the brain the higher power provided us with.
This is probably a t-h-e-m-e that readers will grow tired of even though it obsesses my thinking!
