It's times like this
I know God's speaking to me
When you come and apologize in your own way
And remind me we are like sisters
We are not always going to see eye to eye
Girlie and thats okay
But when push comes to shove
I see the real you
And its the friend
That comes shinning through
The one who reminds me
Gently
If he really loved you
If he really wanted to be your friend
He'd make it work
If not he's not worth the time
And then in the next breath
You say
Girlie you should have
Let me talk to him.
And I know you God smiled down
When he brought me you
Condition or no
I see the true you
And am not going to define you
By some stamped on label
Instead I look at you
And see my friend
My Sister in God's eyes!
Girlie you are like family
And when push comes to shove
I know you have your own way
Of showing you care
Thank you girlie.
