Disconcerting
By La Belle Rouge

I would roam the streets at midnight
searching every desperate, dark alley
to bask in the fervent fire of his eyes
to experience the comfort of his arms
the pleasure of his generous caresses
and the disconcerting hunger of his lips
that secretly steal away sedate sanity
ending self-possession with each word
leaving me breathless with every kiss
where a winter moon cruelly exposes
the helplessness of my aching confusion
rendered incapable of ever denying him
anything of heart and body he desires
standing disoriented on cold sidewalks
where I burn in the flames of our lust
bolts of all doors releasing at his touch
while every knot of proprieties’ thread
unravels well before breaking of dawn

Even though this may be a dream (it was a dream, right?) it continues to haunt us in our quest for answers and for love that may never come or be found. But it isn't the dream that haunts us, but that the dream is recurring time and time again. Is there a reason this dreams haunts us in our tortured minds, refusing to leave us be? Maybe. Thank you for sharing, Belle.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

Woah... this is knife-edge scintillation, Belle, that is searing yet welcome as the pain of a relief that burns. As always, impeccably expressed and the tautness makes the passion even more keen. Not a word wasted or over-used yet we are breathless with expectation of more. And the visual is a sublime sensual stillpoint... Am so lookin forward to gettin me dancin shoes back on again... still have those similar stockins on but sadly not, as yet, the legs to go in 'em! :)) Hips are good, though! xx

Romance roaming the streets in a desperate search for the one that ignites the unabashed fire of passion within her. Sultry and suggestive Belle. I await at the corner of desire and let's dance. Hurry! I bid you love and peace my dear friend. Jon Michael

Your midnight roaming sounds much better than mine - I'm usually on the trail of some poor homeless dog or cat!

Love how real and full of feeling this is. I remember feeling this way, in the beginning of an extremely passionate relationship, where I opened more deeply, on every level, than I ever had before.

Belle, you have captured the true passion that dwells deeply within a woman's soul when she is madly, deeply in love with the right man. I share your sentiments completely for "my man". Your heart is a deep well filled with love and passion...

Peace, love and light,

These verses pronounce the edge of what is "Disconcerting" when it comes to the inability to wait for the arriving night when hearts leap into that faith called romance. Beautifully rendered and highly inpsirational work that I already know is a labor of love.

Nobody- ever writes these scenes better than you. Everybody else- better pick a different topic.
10 degress outside- and YOU give me chills.
Of course- if I give it more thought- I will warm up.
