ah yes..the call...

I gaze toward a shimmering portal of light
beyond an abysmal sea
which glows as I wade
 into its waters
 for the last time
I have drunk  of its elixir
Yet..there are no roads back
existence vanishes
reality burns
and I .. only just
manage to gulp the final  breath
from this sea
that tears me from its womb
then lays me  between non-existence and time
I.. a woman of solitude
 destined to drift
the universe
 Yet..I have
dreams bethroned to love
for you and I
lost and found within these waters
hear our soulwhisper.. " Come to me
and be my Angel
release  me  from solitude
so that once again
 I become One with You
Alone more"

A plea for the return of a lover from beyond the surreal sea of longing. Solitude the companion we long for at times and despise the rest. Perpetual desire to be loved washes ashore with each lapping wave. Finely honed work Vesna. I bid you love and peace my dear friend. Jon Michael

Really elegant poem!
The whisper calls us out of our safety zones into a place of intimate connection and magic and on into the mystery.
Be well,

I wonder if I will ever know why some of us humans keep on dreaming, or how those dreams can ever fail?
What do we ever offer but happy selves we wish we were allowed to be?

I had a decent cup of coffee this morning.
Amazing poem Vesna.
