When you work you are a flute through whose heart the whispering of the hours turns to music.
Which of you would be a reed, dumb and silent, when all else sings together in unison?

Khalil Gibran

Onerous

Your inner being is eminently born
from the bounty of love's beautiful munificence
offering sacristies of innate beatitudes
into the transcendental soul of life…

Gifting through the ascendant eyes of holiness
an awakening rests within you
inside the stillness’s of your innermost self
divining as a onerous celebration…

Of course I love your verses, Vickie. I am puzzled a little by "onerous celebration" though. Thank you for sharing this spiritual offering. Love, hugs, and best wishes to you,
