Window View

There’s a ragged sky to the west tonight

Subdued shades of pink-tinged blue

Lights of the city sparkle on one by one

Like erotic thoughts on naked view

Mind sparks of bits and pieces of prose

Tidbits of things I want to say or do

Trucks gearjaming down the interstate

Seem to roar by as if on cue

A heartache web of roadmaps west

On a blank sheet I just drew

Fighting the urge of rambling fever

I wonder if you feel it too...

I love how this is the poets mind
constantly active & seeing through words
the voices of poetry live forever

"Mind sparks of bits and pieces of prose - Tidbits of things I want to say or do." Fee, I just love the mind pictures your words paint and each new contribution seems to outdo the last.

Thanks Dick.

I think it must be most beautiful up where you are. There is beauty and innate wisdom in your poem, Felix.

"a heartache web of roadmaps west. . ."--we all can feel it. Who but you could say it so? Beautiful.
