| I love this poem Linda. Mike is a soul set free with no more pain no more suffering. We all miss him greatly and we know that it has been hard on you to say good-bye to the man that you loved so much. Mike's life will always live on in you and us and in all the people that his life touched. Thanks for sharing this amazing poem and reminding us that life is just a journey and our destination is not on this earth but to be a "Soul Set Free". Love ya, Donna |

A beautiful and inspiring tribute...I understand your feelings..My wonderful husband died two years ago..and he was my soul mate too, and an integral part of who I am...One day we will be reunited...but in the meantime we have our precious lives to live, for qfter losing a loved one we realise just how precious our time is..Time has softened the pain a little now, but the love and devotion will remain deeply locked in my heart always...I wish you healing of your wounded heart, and if you ever want to share your thoughts...please message me...
Love and Hugs, Diana... |

| I wrote this poem (and published it) in 2009, before I knew my husband was severely ill. I walked with my beloved through the Valley of the Shadow of Death. Then we came to a parting of the ways--he went to be with the Lord and I remained to live out my days on earth. My husband's last text message to me ended with the words, "I'll see you soon." And indeed, he will--when my race is run I know I'll be with him in Heaven. |
