...TODAY IS THE OLDEST YOU'VE EVER BEEN,YET THE YOUNGEST YOU'LL EVER BE,SO ENJOY THIS DAY WHILE IT DOES LAST...

Is life for us all already cast,

Or should we got out & have a daily blast,

Stop worrying we need to do about the past,

Life does unfortunately go by pretty fast…

As well stop stressing about the future,

Daydreaming can be fun, but it is unproductive,

It works for each of us, but is only a suture,

In the long run we make for ourselves how we live…

I am personally each day learning,

As well for a job or to make some money yearning,

I am not of love or relationship spurning,

I find, if I allow myself, that I can be quite discerning…

I don't agree with you or John that daydreaming is unproductive. Granted it might be less productive than other things but daydreams can be the seed for many possibilities. Patrick

Love the reminder at the start, Ed,
and the poem itself, too.
"Daydreaming...is only a suture" - now there's a fine image
and appropriate.
You make me pay full attention here.
Yes!

Ed,

I really love that very first part before the poem. The poem makes some excellent points we often don't think about.

How so very true.
