Abigail's Moon

aglow with wizardry
precious slivers of a
silver pencil landing on
a black velvet square, wielding
her Harry Potter blade, Abigail's moon
gleamed with sharpened ingenuity,

seven strikes on pencil
wood, shavings fit for an
owl's nest in addition to a
cosmic history lesson that
would just as soon impart its
wisdom, "those who come must
find their own way here."

through the
thinning of the
veils, drifting through
the fog, Abigail's moon
dissappeared only on hiatus
from a moment of wizardry -
so she focused on the trees
tapered to spires in a canopy of
midnight green, precious slivers of
a forest green pencil landing on a black
velvet square, wielding her Harry Potter blade,
Abigail's moon gleamed with sharpened ingenuity,

one of the
more obvious things,
Abigail's moon is as
ever-changing as life's tides,
when asked what she thought
about an author naming a moon
after her, she replied, "it's my best-ever
day."

Lucky Abigail. Lucky me to share this great wizardry
as only Sage can capture it with her magic pen.

Such incredible imagery:

so she focused on the trees
tapered to spires in a canopy of
midnight green

You are just too much these days, I am following your work, and you are getting more and more amazing every day.
This poem of course touches me, you know how much I am connected to the Moon. Stellar poetry, pagan roots and mystical melodies.

Much peace, love and light,
Amber "Moon"
