Too much unfaithfulness to describe how fake a human can be,
For the smiles, waves, and small talk are really a hidden 3rd degree.
If you have something to share and express then by all means speak your tongue,
Other wise you can lay low in the rubble of unforgiven liars and geniuses.
Friend or foe? Words that ring through my brain of solitary confinement.
Trust, a word proven to be an award not given...at least to you that is.
Dont be mad at the fact that I'm moving up this escalator to greater heights,
Just accept the fact that I refuse to go down with the weak minded, my heart wants to fight.
So I obtain a "fuck you", and a "you aint shit" type of attitude.
And no one really sees what I see because you hide it away under petty smiles, waves, and small talk.
Just for a moment, I thought you was my Mr.Hyde.
When I would play Jekyll, you would keep me grounded so that I wouldnt blow my mind.
We used to be Batman and Robin back in grade school.
I would have your spine, and you would have mine.
We was like cojoined twins for a moment in time.
I guess as time progressed, my aspirations just didnt meet up to your expectations.
It's okay though, because my dreams only have enough room for those who are willing to go through hell and back with me.
We all lose those who were closest to us over nothing,
I guess thatz just the way life is.
