"Inside of me tomorrow has already come today"

Blue Sky Sonnet

Outside my window the blue sky sings today
As inside my window it dawns on me to say
Tomorrow has already come and I
Can hear it singing out now in the blue sky

I am better now than I was
Better now than I have ever been
And I can see now how it was because
I came to remember myself in December
So I know who I am if you know what I mean

The blue sky knows there were times I wondered
Knowing me better than anyone does
As looking back I know when the black sky thundered
But outside my window the blue sky sings to say
Inside of me tomorrow has already come today

I guess it ain't easy, Steven, but what a joy (I hope) to
know thyself.

God bless,
