Starting all over. Back to square one.
This was all over before it'd begun.
I'm longing to hold you, but you just pull away.
You won't even listen to what I need to say.
People will judge and that's not your fault.
But why must this make things come to a halt?
I see how you follow the ones that you love.
How their words mean more than heaven above
But look beyond words and take this one chance
On a girl who sees what could be romance.
This girlís not alone in all that she sees
Everyone knows that you hold the keys
Iím not just talking of friends and such
Iím speaking to you who felt so much.
How can you say you feel for me so
Then the very next day just let me go?
So I sit here confused and alone in my world
With butterfly wings that never unfurled.
For the wings that were meant to carry me away
Weíre ripped off my back and left on the way.
A tension so thick it could choke out life.
The pain and the silence cut like a knife.
Iíve been tossed aside because of words that were said
They werenít even mine! I feel so misled.
Friends for now, who knows what will be?
I know exactly, Itíll NEVER be me
To now be just friends I don't know if I can
But despite all this pain Iíd do it again.

This is my favorite or your poems. You are really talented. I think that you should write a book and have it published. Can I be your publicist?
