Corners of the room, closing in on me...
gasping for air, in the darkest silence.
Waiting for a doorway, where only shadows call,
falling inside myself, love has taken all.
Light a distant memory, in this lonely realm,
curtains draped like phantoms,
pressed against the walls.
While I linger wearily, night shall never end,
cannot find a pillow, lying on this bed.
Cannot find an hour to sleep,
tucked beneath this dread,
fearing for each memory,
harshest fate has dealt to me.
