A gentle hand upon my back whispers, Hon, it's time to get up
Grumbling, I go turn on the shower, and wait for it to warm.
But when I get there, the water temp is a perfect one.
I go to my closet to pick out today's wear
Only to find my wardrobe laid out on a freshly made bed.
I smile as I know my loved one put it there.
I stumble to the breakfast table to make the morning coffee,
Still not quite awake, I go towards the kitchen, lo, and behold
A freshly brewed pot awaits, and my love hands me the
coffee he made.
I thank him and take out some bacon and eggs
But then the aroma tells me I'm already too late.
Time is running late, I need to make my lunch - but as I go
to the kitchen, it's already been done.
Coming home from work I'm thinking what to make
But when I get home, dinner's already made. A hot meal
two candles on the table and one red rose.
Love comes in many ways. It can be physical, or with pretty words.
Then there are the little things, and sometimes love can be as simple
as a coffee cup.
