I’d like to take a walk with you
Along the beach or an avenue
In a park or thought a town
On any street, just step up and down
The days stay lighter longer now
Lets make the most of them somehow
Before you know it time has passed
Hours and minutes go by so fast
Do you wonder what I’m trying to say.
What we can do in just one day
Well I want to do things while you’re here
Suppose that you should disappear?
I wouldn’t want to walk alone
I’d end up in a dead-end zone
So want you take a walk with me
And stop and sit below a tree
Pack a lunch, or have a talk
Get up again and take a walk
I’ll be waiting, so let me know
I’m already so lets go-
I’m not selfish, take you’re time
I can wait and I’ll be fine
If today we don’t walk
We can find the time to sit and talk.
