A rhyming, fantasy poem for children

There was an Old Woman
who lived in a shoe,
with six giddy goats
and a green cockatoo.
She fed them on birdseed
and carpet shampoo,
till they jumped on a rug
and off they all flew.

There was an Old Man
lived in an igloo,
with a gold polar bear
and a cold kinkajou.
He fed them on kippers
and icicle stew,
then they called up a cloud
and took off in the blue.

As they floated aloft,
in search of lives new,
the two met and married,
without more ado.
Then with ripping and roaring
and hullabaloo,
they rowed gaily away
in a crystal canoe.

A joyful "mind picnic" to read, Sally! Conjures up some of my wildest dreams (did you happen to dream this?}. I have met a varied assortment of ladies while floating aloft and even married one of them. I'm not sure about the "ripping and roaring and hullabaloo", nor do I remember a "crystal canoe" but we had some wild rides. Best wishes! Just Jim (from Texas).

Oh this is so delightful, Sally! Children will adore it! I know the child down inside me, does ...
Hugs to you,
