Emotion

When the moment is near, you forget yourself. All is lost in the brief moments when you catch each other’s eyes as you pass. And that is all, until an unexpected time when he enters the room and you lose yourself once more.

Unable to hardly speak, you just smile when he says hi. And once you collect yourself, words come out of your almost permanent smile. But it’ll eventually fade into a lasting memory.

Later in time when your mind wonders from place to place, you come upon that memory that you put away so carefully. And it brings that almost permanent smile back to your face. Which holds that emotion that you love so much.
