Wanted to go to the beach,

Wanted to blow off some steam,

Wanted to maybe even take a swim,

Instead we have had enough rain here,

To give me in my yard a swimming stream…

This weather wasn’t predicted,

Maybe a thunderstorm “could” pass,

But not a constant drizzle like this,

Well at least we get some rain,

Unlike other areas where Nature has of rain restricted…

No shortage of rain around here either, Ed! We had sunshine for the past two days...but it's monsooning again today! Ah! The Maritimes!

Bummer. Rain go away to come again another day? Maybe or maybe a drought. Brought a lot of visions to mind here. Enjoyed. Liz

Within those raindrops, a fresh water play can be felt upon ones face. :0) Windswept

Mother Nature doesn't always want to cooperate with our plans, does she? :)

Yep. We could sure use a nice long, all-day drizzle down here. I know you plans have been thwarted, but there will be another time. Chin up.
