Not really new news is it? Female vulnerability to the handsome con man stealing their hearts and trust.

The newswoman says he’s a real jerk
As she concludes the story of the English chap
Who has deceived 4 middle aged women into thinking
Each was the only one he loved.

They pulled together their women power
Confronted him as a friend’s camera rolled on
He admitted to it all.
“Can’t seem to stop myself” he said
Looking sheepish and confessing
“Don’t know what’s the truth anymore”.

After tales of woe and promises of forever
Convincing one to let go of thousands of British pounds
He took something more precious
Than even time or their hearts.
He took away their trust in any man.

Yes, they may feel vindicated
As he sits in jail, serving justice
But as they move forward,
Wanting to believe in love again
They carry a burden of suspicions
Not to let go lightly and
Possibly to last a lifetime
