My subconscious drifts into a domain
That I’ve never seen before
There is light, and laughter, a subtlety
That I’ve never felt before
Is that me, in the white flowing gown
Are my eyes deceiving
With the smile so real it reaches my eyes
No lines from my frown
My hair so perfect, not a hair out of place
The sheen, completely healthy
My skin peaches and cream
My face aglow from happiness
Could it be, am I home
An Eden in my dream
As I wake up, I’m still me
Let me go back, it was so real

| I sometimes wake up from a dream where I was still a young man, but then if I went back I would have to do it all over again. |
