I thought about this a while because...in my walk with Jesus Christ I always try to think how the 'other' person or persons will feel. But I've decided that no situation is unique. Someone...somewhere is going through the same thing that I am and if my testimony can help another person 'see' God...in spite of what they might be going through, then whatever 'fallout' I receive from this posting is worth it and quite all right. Press on, my brother and sisters...press on for the Lord has promised that our 'Reward' is '...more than worth it...' And, as the 'messenger'(smile)said on Sunday morning...God keeps His Promises!

If..

my Salvation...that was

wrought by my Lord and Savior

Jesus Christ on Calvary...

could be taken away

then...

I would want to die...not

tomorrow but...right now...today!

Other than that...

Yes...it hurts

and I expect over and over

again...that it will.

Sometimes...

I'll weep,

and sometimes...I'll cringe

and be filled with despair

But at other times...

the mockery, rejection and

plain out cruelty and unfairness

will cause a deep 'ache' within

And, of course,

there will be instances

when I'll want to just give up

but...

encouraged and strengthened

by God...Himself

...I will Press on!

And I will press on with joy

and gratitude, seeing how God has

allowed me to behold...exactly

what He doesn't want me to

become...You!

The ending stunned me a little ...wow! I agree with all that you wrote ...people are sometimes cruel towards others, some can be mean
and harse (Ignore them)and just adhere as you are doing to those deep spiritual feelings that live in your heart. All one can do in such a case (when faced with cruelity)is be exactly as Jesus would want...that would be kind .
Joyce, you keep writing and expressing your strong deep and passionate poems ...I for one love them.
Sincerely

Uniqueness is our hallmark and the calling-card of God himself. He doesn't do blanket prescriptions and neither should we. Joyce, I can only imagine your tenderness and sensitivity and wisdom for each person who has the great fortune to be ministered to by you is divine in itself. Be blessed many times over back at'ya! :)) xx

As always, your deep faith and devotion ooze from your veins onto the page. I think most of us empathize with the kind of pain you speak of, the anguish, the despair...and also with disappointment in our fellow man. I understand where you are coming from in this write and think all will understand that we need to keep hope and faith alive. You always inspire with your hand, Joyce. God bless. ~Hugs, Elizabeth

Beautifully -- and heartrendingly -- said.

It hurts to think of you hurting, Joyce. You are so warm and encouraging and thoughtful. Look in the mirror, hon'. Your crown
is so full of stars, need a second one. (Third or fourth wouldn't
surprise.)

Bless you. . .always, and then,

Phyllis

Very good Joyce. My reasons for experiences like this may not be the same as yours, but I do understand. It is hard to press on when the hurt seems so bad and we want to give up. I just tell Jesus I walk with him, and say to myself "this too shall pass."
Peace washes over me and the situation does pass.

Love this Joyce! Such faith and courage in this poem. Had to smile- you and I must have been on the same wave length today. I wrote a poem about dispair and how to keep going. I read your poem after I wrote mine. I love this!!!Thank you.
