Cluster Headaches
From sombre sleep I wake
Even before the daylight breaks
My head exodus from its silent dream
Thudding franticly inside my mind
My pulse is racing my breath is thready
Even my arms and legs feel so heavy
Electrical pulse in my brain
Bringing me to my knees in endless pain
Hiding like a vampire in the shade
As daylight brings me a world load of pain
My stomach’s unsettled like a churning sea
As this agony tears it’s way through me
On some occasions I can control this suffering
On other occasions I thrown up relentlessly
When I suffer the serious attacks my heart starts racing
As I suffer with atrial fibrillation
Which causes me to get dizzy, nauseous, and lightheaded
As I have thrown up, till I couldn’t take anymore
And on occasion I have collapsed upon the floor
In hospital they’ll hook you up the pure oxygen
Cluster headaches, I hope to never see you again!
