Quagmire
Help me, I am sinking,
down, down.
Help me, I am sliding,
no grip I have found.
To think I once cherished,
worshiped and adored,
solid ground.
I'm up to my ass,
in morass,
with no one to ask,
but myself.
I'm underwater my friend,
and will not bend,
like a reed,
in the swamp of success.
Get me up,
and get me out of here!
Before I disappear,
in the face of my fear.
Sucked down a hole,
as black as my goal,
to an endless universe.
So heed this verse,
or the underworld's curse,
will have you sinking too...
into the quagmire of your desire.

That's why I shop at the 99 cent store. Can't get into too much trouble there. Perhaps you should revise your goal before you reach the event horizon. Patrick

... ass... morass... bending over... desire?! Yep, this just about sums up the way of the corporate world and no mistake, dear Ron. Very tightly constructed, too! Can't see YOU kissing the rosy cheeks of material greed at any rate. Nice one! :)) xx

Ron, I can sense the desperation my dear friend -- once you are caught up in the vortex exit is very difficult, but possible -- fight on -- I bid you love and peace -- Jon Michael
