onward in the journey... I come to understand... that every hair is numbered, like every grain of sand... (Bob Dylan)

Life’s a song, a tune to learn,
more like a full-blown musical
some songs inspire, others burn,
some are spiritual, others physical.

Life’s a sonnet, life’s a flame,
life’s full impact, life’s all in,
life’s win-win, life’s fair game,
Life’s a cause, life’s a pulled pin.

Explode a myth: what’s old is new!
Good ain’t bad, it’s just the draw
that makes it seem that black is blue.
Wrong ain’t right! Gold’s not straw.

Nor does the mere presence of gray
negate the true nature of white,
much to the greater dismay
of relativists, who just want to fight.
