NATURE IS THE ULTIMATE SOURCE

Insights into the efficacy of nature that
positively impact a person's life.

Nature is the total manifestation of the Totality
of All Good that exists.
Nature is primal and ultimate, being and nothingness,
the Alpha and Omega.
Nature is God's Most Significant Other, Mother
Nature, Mother Earth
and the Infinite Cosmos.

Nature alone is able to provide humans with everything they need,
including the opportunity to be creative, productive and enjoy living.
When humans fail to embrace nature they do so at their own peril.
The consequences of a nature-deficit life are: sickness and disease, alienation
hopelessness, emotional stress, destructive
behavior and premature death.

There are many ways to experience nature, to commune and be one
with nature. On a regular basis walk into
the woods and allow your
body and spirit to be present while focusing on
the reality that surrounds
you, such as the trees, birds and other available creatures. Be aware
that the earth and everything else are sacred.
Be quiet, listen to silence,
inhale deeply, exhale slowly and smell the aromas. Look up and see
the sky, stars and moon. Converse and commune with nature.

Today, as never before, there are attractions and distractions that can
keep a person from experiencing nature in meaningful ways. They include what Dr. Andrew Weil M.D., calls
the "information serfeit:" surfing the Internet, including Facebook and
Twitter, texting, talking on mobile phones, attending to emails,
watching television and being stimulated and seduced by other new
media-experiences not available until now.

Relating intimately with nature is the most effective way for a person
to develop health-consciousness. The nature lifestyle consists of
eating as close to nature, to the earth, as possible. This requires
disregarding false promsises about the health value of industrial food,
junk food and bottled supplements. Say grace before you eat in
ackowledgment of the Giver of the food you are about to eat.
("Say" has special value. During the first five days of the six days
of Creation God "said" and the created  came into existence."
Don't be surprised when you visit McDonald or a kindred eating place
that you will feel like you are watching a fitness guru gobble down a
milkshake and Big Mac. You will be aware that your body is the Temple
of God. In addition to these things, pray and meditate daily, read
life-enhancing literature, think on the good and beautiful, communicate

verbally encouraging messages and practice community. Commuity
is not a matter of geograrpy per se but what we do together in the
spirit of oneness, even when we are not in physical proximity.

Let your lifestyle include going often to nature. My prescription for
experiencing Paradise in the here-and-now is, go to nature, not once or
twice or every-now-and-then, go to nature perpetually. Like the
trees and rivers you are a part of nature. Your nature is nature. From
nature you came into the world and to nature you will depart from this
world, but not from nature. Where God is, nature is. As a person's body
returns as dust to the earth his soul will rendezvous with the rising
wind and flowing rivers that will catapult him into endlessness,  but
not into emptiness.
